The Book:
The White Tiger is the story of how Balram Halwai - a low-caste servant from 'a village in the dark heart of India' and son of a rickshaw puller, goes on to become a successful entrepreneur. As expected, the story is 'utterly amoral, brilliantly irreverent, deeply endearing and altogether unforgettable.'

Comments:
An easy to read book that someone who has seen the real India can relate to. Plenty of black humor in there to leave you wondering about the struggles of the deprived, the political situation of the country and the problems of the rich. Yellow, because there were places where I felt the story was dragging.
