The Book

Benjamin Franklin, the man who flew a kite into the clouds to discover that lightning has electricity, was also a media mogul, a seasoned politician and one of USA's founding fathers.

In this book, he walks us through the story of his early years when as a boy he started educating himself - developed an interest in writing, got involved in the media business, travelled on what could be called adventures.

And, then towards the end he writes again about the interim period summarily - covering his involvement in the war amongst other things.

Rating
Gold. One of the best autobiographies I have read. An example of the Great American Success Story. But, much more importantly a book that shares the moral reflections of the author. And, his constant quest for self-improvement is evident in his actions - inspirational!
